APCC to felicitate women group leaders on Indira's birth anniversary

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee will felicitate several successful leaders of women groups and Mahila Samakhyas, throughout the state on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on November 19.

APCC General Secretary G Niranjan said APCC President D Srinivas, and Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy will felicitate the women at a commemorative programme at Gandhi Bhavan here.

Similarly, all the Mandal and Town Congress Committees, in coordination with local Mahila Congress units, will felicitate the leaders of successful Mahila Swayam Shakthi groups.

AP Mahila Congress President and MLC Ganga Bhavani asked the heads of district and lower level units of Mahila Congress to ensure the successful conduct of the programme.
