Congress to agitate on cancellation of GO 34 project
Kakinada, AP, Nov 13 (UNI) Expressing resentment over the cancellation of Coastal Corridor GO 34 fearing opposition parties stir, Kakinada Congress MLA Mutha Gopalakrishna today said he would launch an agitation on November 15 in favour of the project.
Talking to newspersons here, he said it was wrong on the part of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to cancel the GO by succumbing to the pressures of the opposition parties.
Mr Gopalakrishna said coastal corridor would develop the road parallel to the National Highways from Thada to Ichapuram and also provide infrastructure facilities for railway-line and gas pipeline.
The legislator urged the Government to retain the project between Visakhapatnam and Kakinada for the development of East Godavari distict.
