Committee for organising National Youth Festival constituted
Chandigarh, Nov 10 (UNI) The Punjab government has constituted a 30-member organising Committee for the 14th National Youth Festival- 2009 to be held at Amritsar from January 12 to 16.
The Committee will be headed by Youth Services and Sports Minister Gulzar Singh Ranike, while Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal will be its chief patron.
The Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Services, will be the Secretary of the committee.
The members of the Committee include the Chief Secretary, secretaries of various departments, the Director General of Police and the concerned Deputy Commissioner.
