Workshop on non-credit guarantee scheme at Bandipora

Srinagar, Nov 9 (UNI) To encourage youths, particularly girls, to avil of loan facility and set up their own income generating units, an awareness workshop was organised at Bandipora, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir, official sources said today They said a day-long awareness workshop on ''Credit Guarantee scheme for Micro and Small Enterprises'' was held in which more than hundred youth, including girls, participated.

The workshop, inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Bandipora Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, was jointly organised by the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises, Mumbai and the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute.

The course co-ordination of the workshop demonstrated features of the Trust aimed to facilitate the guarantee for micro and small entrepreneurs to enable them to avail loan facility from financial institutions to set up their own income generating units.
