Groundnut, oil flat, RBD palm oil further declines

Mumbai, Nov 1 (UNI) The prices of groundnutseed and its oil remained flat today on scattered buying by stockists, while RBD palm oil further declined on poor offtake, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds, groundnut remained flat. However, kardiseed declined by Rs 40 per quintal on lower buying support.

Castorseed Bombay improved by Rs 20 per quintal on improved demand by local dealers, traders said.

In oils (per 10 kg), RBD palm oil and rapeseed exp eased by Rs six and Rs five per 10 kg respectively on persistent offloading by stock holders, traders said.

Castor comm rose by Rs four per ten kg on better buying support by bulk consumers.

In de-oiled cakes undec cottonseed advanced by Rs 500 per metric tonne.

Rest de-oiled cakes remained unaltered, traders added.
