Tata Motors asserts paying of lease rental for Singur site
Kolkata, Oct 31 (UNI) Refuting reports which appeared in a section of the media here, Tata Motors today asserted that it had paid lease rental for the Singur site, where the company's Nano plant was to be set up.
In a statement, the company clarified that it had paid lease rental for the first two years as per the agreement, with effect from March 15, 2007, the date on which the lease began.
A section of the media in the city had reported that Tata Motors had not paid the lease rental for the Singur site.
