Miscreants loot Rs four lakhs, injure two in Bihar
Samastipur, Oct 30 (UNI) Armed miscreants looted cash and valuables worth Rs four lakhs from the houses of two Power Grid engineers in the township of this central Bihar district here last night and injured two youths.
Police today said a gang of about 12 armed dacoits attacked the adjacent houses of two local Mohanpur Power Grid engineers after midnight and looted cash and valuables worth Rs four lakhs at gun point.
In face of resistance, the miscreants shot at the young sons leaving them seriously injured, police said adding they were later hospitalised.
According to police, a search operation had been launched to nab the culprits and no arrests had been made, so far.
