Tamil Nadu: Man held with fake passport

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 30: Airport Police arrested a 40-year-old man when he was attempted to fly to Dubai with a fake passport, at airport here yesterday.

Police said Syed Hameed of Kallakurichi in Cuddalore District came to the airport to catch the Dubai-bound Indian flight and submitted his travel documents before the Immigration authorities who found his passport was fake.

Later, he was handed over to local police who arrested and remanded him to judicial custody.
