10 CRPF companies deployed in Poonch for J

Jammu, Oct 27 (UNI) Ten companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been deployed in Poonch district for the forthcoming assembly elections scheduled to be held in seven phases from November 17 to December 24.

''Ten companies of CRPF jawans have been deployed in tehsil Mendhar of Poonch distrct alone as six companies of 50 Bn, two of 151 Bn and one each of 91 and 14 Bn have reached Poonch so far,'' sources told UNI.

Meanwhile, the process of deploying CRPF personnel at various polling stations is in progress, they said.
