Police search Sadhvi Pragya's residence
Jabalpur, Oct 26 (UNI) Police today searched former residence of Malegaon blast-accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who was arrested recently.
''We received information from Maharashtra Police that the 'Sadhvi' lived in rented accommodation in Gorakhpur locality some months back,'' said Additional Superintendent of Police Manish Kapuria.
The search did not yield any objectionable material. Some books on religion were found. The sadhvi preached at several religious programmes during her stay here. This information came to light on the sadhvi's association with some local leaders of a few political parties.
Meanwhile in Bhopal, Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) Founder-President and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti defended the sadhvi and added that such allegations were being made to defame Hindu outfits.
