Bangalore, Oct 25 (UNI) Karnataka Lok Ayukta has ordered a preliminary inquiry into the collapse of a building under construction in the city, in which a few workers where injured and their bodies were yet to be traced.

A press release here said the collapse of the building being built by a Malaysian contractor, has raised several questions.

The Lok Ayukta said there was a need to conduct the inquiry to know the extent of the injuries to the workers in the mishap.

The management has not made any effort to produce them before the police for verification, it alleged, adding the police department needs to answer these questions.
