Precious metals recover on bullish advice

Mumbai, Oct 25: Both the precious metals recovered on Saturday, Oct 25 as silver improved by Rs 100 per kg and gold by Rs 460 per ten gm from their on Friday, Oct 24 close, on brisk buying support by industrial users, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Silver opened at Rs 17,400 per kg, while gold at Rs 11,990 per ten gm. Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 17,400 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 11,990 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 12,065.
