Man arrested for possessing detonators without licence

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 25 (UNI) A 30-year old man was arrested for possessing electric detonators and slurry without licence at Ehtumalai village near here yesterday.

Police said R Rangaraj, of Valaiyur, who was riding a two-wheeler, was intercepted by the police on their routine vehicle check and seized the explosives.

Mr Rangaraj was remanded to judicial custody, police added.
