Gold, silver surge on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Oct 25: Both the precious metal recovered on Saturday, Oct 25 with silver surging by Rs 190 per kg and gold by Rs 500 per ten gm on brisk buying support by stockists, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 17,490 (17,300) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,030 (11,530) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,100 (11,600).
