Financial powers of Commissioner temple enhanced
Shimla, Oct 25 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Government has empowered Commissioner (Temple) to exercise the financial powers of the Chief Commissioner (Temple) to the extent of Rs 10,00,000 for pilgrim welfare schemes.
The enhanced powers can be used in relation with schemes for improvement of pedestrians and vehicular movement, facilities for the pilgrims, public conveniences and safety and security of the pilgrims.
A notification was issued in this regard under Section 5(5) of the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowment Act, 1984.
