Congress List before Diwali

Jaipur, Oct 25 (UNI) The first list of Congress candidates for the December 4 Assembly polls in Rajasthan is expected to be declared anytime before Diwali, party media committee chief Pradhyuman Singh said.

Talking to newspersons here today Mr Singh said the process of selection of party candidates was being undertaken by the party leadership in a smooth manner in New Delhi and the first list, covering majority of the 200 assembly seats, could be announced sometime before Diwali.

He said there was no controversy and/or dispute over allotment of party ticket at any seat in the state, however, names of some of the party candidates could be withheld strategically till the eleventh hour.
