Manhar Majithia elected as chairman of Gujarat Labour Welfare Board

Rajkot, Oct 24 (UNI) Manharbhai Majithia was unanimously elected as Chairman of Gujarat Labour Welfare Board, while Deepakbhai Trivedi elected as Vice Chairman of the Board.

Newly reconstituted Board's first meeting was held in Ahmedabad on October 22 under the chairmanship of Gujarat Labour commissioner Ms Vatsala Vasudeva. She undertook the election process of the chairman and vice chairman of the Gujarat Labour Welfare Board.

The election was held in the presence of Welfare Commissioner M Y A Mirza, a press release issued here said.

Mr Majithia was honorary secretary of Kutch Saurashtra Productivity Council and vice president of Bharatiya Mazjdoor Sangh of Gujarat unit, release added.
