Dasmunsi's condition remains critical, still on life support

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Three days after he was shifted from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences to the Apollo hospital here, condition of Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, continues to remain critical.

''The medical condition of Mr Dasmunsi remains the same. He continues to be on life support,'' a statement issued by the hospital authorities this evening said.

Mr Dasmunsi, who had been admitted to AIIMS after suffering a complete left ventricular failure on October 13, was shifted to Apollo on Monday.

Doctors at the Indraprastha Apollo hospital had on Monday described Mr Dasmunsi's condition as ''very critical''.

Since then, his condition has remained the same.

Earlier, Mr Dasmunsi had heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.

He had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata.
