Chennai: Rich tribute to police martyrs
Chennai, Oct 23: Rich tributes were paid to 685 police personnel attached to various States and Central police organisations who died in harness between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2008.
After the bugle sounded the last post, top police officials and representatives of the Indian Navy and Coast Guard who took part in the parade observed a two-minute silence.
