APPM registers 38 per cent revenue growth in Q2
Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills Limited (APPM), owners of the ECF (Elemental chlorine free) paper brand 'ANDHRA', has posted un-audited 32% growth in its revenue for Q2 of the current financial year with Rs 165.27 crore as against Rs 125.46 crore for the corresponding period of the last year.
The profit before exceptional items for this quarter was Rs 8.40 crore against loss of 27 lakhs in the previous financial year.
The half yearly revenue of APPM was Rs 343.79 crore scoring 38 per cent growth against Rs 249.46 crore of the corresponding period of the previous year.
Commenting on the results, Mr L N Bangur, Chairman, APPM said, ''This quarter was excellent in terms of overall performance especially exports. Taking advantage of the depreciating rupee, APPM has recorded the highest ever quarterly exports of 6,200 tonnes''.
