18 kids reach GM level in Abacus,Brain Gym

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) Eighteen of the 8000 kids enrolled for Abacus and Brain Gym Programmes offered by the Indian arm of SIP Academy SDN BHD, Malaysia, in the city, will be honoured at the SIP Abacus and BrainGym Grandmasters Graduation Ceremony here tomorrow.

Be it a question on division, multiplication, decimals, squares, cubes upto five digits, these kids, all under the age of 12, can solve it with ease within seconds! These kids went through the marathon training programme of eight levels of SIP Foundation one, two,three and four programmes, followed by Basic Level and three levels of five months duration of Grandmaster Programme, SIP Andhra Pradesh Area Partner J Sampath Kumar told mediapersons today.

With this, Andhra Pradesh had become the second state in India to have produced 18 Grandmasters in Abacus and BrainGym after Tamil Nadu.

SIP Academy, which launched its programmes in India in 2004 and subsequent year in Andhra Pradesh, has 65,000 kids undergoing these programmes in 150 cities in 18 states.
