Army's recruitment for Havildars Education

Chandigarh, Oct 22 (UNI) Army Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Ambala will carry out a recruitment drive to induct Havildars Education (male) in the Army Educational Corps for April 2009 batch.

This recruitment drive will be carried out for the candidates hailing from Haryana (except Gurgaon, Faridabad and Mewat Districts), Himachal Pradesh and UT Chandigarh during the month of November, 2008.

An Army spokesman said that the total number of vacancies on all India basis were 255 out of which 170 were of the Science stream and 85 of Arts stream.

He said that prospective candidates were required to forward applications along with related documents to the headquarters for preliminary screening and medical examination as per programme.

He said that candidates who qualified the preliminary screening would appear in the written examination at this headquarters.

He said that educational qualification for group X was MA/M Sc or B A/B Sc with B Ed and for group Y was B A or B Sc without B Ed from any recognized university.
