Three of family killed in road accident
Mandya, Oct 21 (UNI) A couple and their five-year-old child were killed when a lorry collided with an autorickshaw at Bellur cross in this district of Karnataka last night.
Police said while the woman was killed on the spot, the other two died in a hospital here today.
The deceased were identified as Thipparaju (40), his wife Nagaveni (29) and their daughter Rajani.
The lorry driver was absconding. Efforts were on to trace him.
A case had been registered and an investigation was, underway, police added.
