SumTotal appoints new CEO from November one

Hyderabad, Oct 21 (UNI) SumTotal Systems, the market leader and a global provider of talent development solutions, today appointed Arun Chandra as the company's Chief Executive Officer(CEO), with effect from November one.

Mr Chandra will be responsible for the company's operational activities. He is also likely to join the Board of Directors.

Mr Chandra, who began his career as a software engineer at Hewlett Packard, held many leadership positions, before becoming vice president worldwide marketing, strategy and alliances for the Technology Solution Group, a 30 Dollar enterprise business, during his 20-year tenure at HP.

Don Fowler, who currently serves as SumTotal's CEO, will retire on November one. Mr Fowler will continue to serve in a part-time advisory capacity until December 31 and will remain on the board of directors thereafter.
