Five tourists from Kolkata killed in accident
Gangtok, Oct 20 (UNI) At least five tourists from Kolkata were killed and six injured, some of them critically, when their car met with an accident while returning from a visit to the Chhangu lake and Baba Mandir in East Sikkim today.
Police said while four died on the spot, the rest succumbed to her injuries later in the hospital.
The tourists, belonging to two families, were said to be from Kolkata, official sources said.
The accident occurred at the 8th Mile when the tourists were coming back to Gangtok, said SP (East) M S Tuli.
