Housewife found dead, husband, inlaws arrested

Hoshiarpur, Oct 19 (UNI) A housewife was found dead at her house in Kharkan village in the district.

The victim, Poonam who was married to Manjit Singh in March this year was found dead in her in-laws house this morning.

Her father in his statement to the police alleged that she was harassed by her husband and her in-laws for not fulfilling their demand of bringing Rs 50,000 from her parents. He further alleged that his daughter had been murdered.

The police on the statement of the victims parents arrested Manjit Singh and his parents under section 304 B of the IPC.
