16 die in UP road accidents
Lucknow, Oct 19 (UNI) At least 16 people were killed and 15 injured in separate road accidents across Uttar Pradesh overnight.
According to police, altogether nine passengers were killed and six hurt after a mini truck collided head on with a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in Alhaganj area of Sultanpur district today.
Three workers of the Narendra Dev University of Agriculture were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Ambedkar Nagar district.
In another incident, a man met fatal end after a roadways bus rammed into a roadside tree in Gosainganj area of Lucknow.
In Kanpur, three members of a family were killed and an equal number injured after their vehicle dashed against another vehicle in Shivrajpur area late last night.
