Two Indian nationals detained in Nepal
Kathmandu, Oct 17 (UNI) Police has nabbed two Indian nationals on the charges of theft and fraud, the state run media reported here today.
''The arrestees are identified as Jaya Prakash Roy of Bihar and Rinchin Bhutiya of Siligudi,'' The Rising Nepal reported here.
Bhutiya was arrested from Kakadvitta and Roy was held from Dhulabari in Jhapa district in eastern Nepal. Bhutiya was at large after stealing Rs 30,000 and gold ornaments from the house of Seti Maya.
The police said preparations were underway to file a case of theft and fraud against the two.
Nepal and India share a common border of over 1800 km and there are reports of criminal activities in the border areas.
