RYA to launch agitation for banning VHP and Bajrang dal

Samastipur, Oct 17 (UNI) Revolutionary Youth Association(RYA) national general secretary Kamlesh Sharma today announced to launch an agitation demanding ban on the VHP and Bajrang Dal.

Mr Sharma told newspersons here that both the organisations were spreading hatred by fanning communalism and should be banned immediately. For this, the RYA would launch a nationwide agitation.

He said the condition of farmers had deteriorated during the Manmohan Singh-led UPA government, as more than one lakh farmers had committed suicide. Even after 61 years of independence, 42 crore people did not have social security and had to live just on Rs 20 per day, he added.

Regarding the Nitish Kumar government, he said it was curbing the people's movement.

To expose the 'failures' of both the Central and State Governments, the RYA would stage a dharna at the district headquarters on October 20, he said.
