Cool weather persists in Delhi, more drop in mercury likely
New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) The cool weather in Delhi since the beginning of this week persisted today even as the Sun after a cloudy weather over the last two days.
Cool winds which have, since the beginning of this week, maintained respite for Delhiites from warm and humid weather conditions in the city, today led to a drop in minimum temperature, from 21.6 Degree Celsius yesterday, to 18.6 degrees celsius.
The maximum was recorded at 33.1 degrees, the normal temperature for this time of the year.
The cool weather is likely to continue on the weekend with the weatherman forecasting a drop in maximum and minimum temperature tomorrow to 33 degrees and 17 degrees respectively.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
