SAD party set up to be announced this month: Sukhbir

Kapurthala, Oct 15 (UNI) Shromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that the party would announce its organisational set up during this month.

Talking to mediapersons at Begowal village in the district, Mr Badal said the party had already announced the distirct jathedars and other office bearers would be announced during this month.

Replying to a query regarding poll alliance, Mr Badal said that SAD was ready for electoral alliance with like-minded parties except the Congress.

Commenting on the controvery regarding inauguration of Gate built in the memory of Sant Prem Singh Muralewale, Mr Sukhbir Badal said though the foundation stone was laid during the Congress regime, the gate was built during the SAD-BJP rule.

Later, addressing a gathering at the dera of Sant Prem Singh Muralewale on his 127 birth anniversary, The SAD chief hailed sant Muralewale as a great social reformer and educationist and urged the people to follow such eminent leaders.

During his visit, Mr Badal also inaugurated the Hamira-Bholath road, laid foundation stone of expansion of Bholath grain market at the cost of rupees seven crore, foundation stone of the building of sub tehsil at village Dhilwan and inaugurated a gate on Akala -Baghria road.
