Takes over as Distinguished Professor at IICT

Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) Dr K V Raghavan, former chairman, RAC of DRDO and former Director of the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) here and the Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai has assumed the responsibilities of the FNAE Distinguished Professorship at IICT.

He will guide a research group specializing in reaction engineering studies on green chemical processes to enhance commercial prospect of green options like reaction cum separations, single pot synthesis tailored reaction media and microwave/sonic augmented reaction systems.

His research group will forge close linkage with leading academic institutions in these areas, a IICT press release here said today.
