Dasmunsi hospitalised, condition serious

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences early today following an acute heart problem.

His condition was serious, said AIIMS spokesperson Dr Y K Gupta.

''He was breathless and suffered conjestion in the lungs. He had an acute left ventricular failure,'' Dr Gupta said.

Mr Dasmunsi has been put on ventilator and his vitals were stable, he added.

The Minister had earlier suffered a heart attack in July while he was on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
