RJD blames Bihar govt of large-scale bungle in deploying MVIs

Patna, Oct 12 (UNI) The Opposition RJD today alleged that the Bihar government had made a blunder in deploying 52 motor vehicle inspectors (MVIs) in the transport department.

RJD General Secretary Shyam Rajak told newspersons here that all norms were set aside in deploying the MVIs, alleging that 52 junior engineers of the water resources department were posted in the transport department.

He alleged that the rules and regulations for the deployment of MVIs were ignored and those who even did not possess the desired qualifications were placed in the department.

The General Secretary said the water resources department, instead of concentrating on the flood situations in Kosi river, was paying its attention towards the coming Lok Sabha elections with the deployment of MVIs.
