Bung cultivation over 66 kanals of land destroyed in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 11 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have destroyed illegal bung cultivation over 66 kanals of land in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said today.

They said on a tip-off that some farmers were cultivating banned crops, a police party conducted raids at village Barbandina under police station Awantipora.

During the raid the banned crops was destroyed and a case was registered against the land owners.

No arrests have been made so far, they said.
