Raj Govt concedes employees demand

Jaipur Oct 9 (UNI) The Rajasthan Government has conceded the state government employees' demand of assured career progression scheme in the 9th, 18th and 27th year of the service.

In the implementation of the sixth Pay Panel award the state government had announced assured career progression scheme in 10th, 20th and 30th year of the service, however, various employees unions were stressing upon old model of assured promotion in 9th, 18th and 27th year of the service.

The state government has also increased the facility of maternity leave to woman employees from present 135 days to 180 days, an official spokesman said here today.
