KC groups celebrate party's birthday

Kottayam, Oct 9 (UNI)The Kerala Congress(KC) groups today celebrated the party's birthday.

There are five KC in the State, four in United Democratic Front(UDF) and one in the Left Democratic Front(LDF).

While the groups in the UDF celebrated the birthday jointly, the LDF celebrated it separately.

Mr R Balakrishna Pillai inaugurated the joint celebration of the four groups and Mr C F Thomas MLA presided over the function.

P J Joseph inaugurated his group's celebration.

The Public Works Department(PWD) Minister Mons Joseph and Francis George MP, were among others, who addressed the meeting.

Mr P C Thomas MP and his supporters abstained from celebrations.
