Mauritius PM on Singapore official visit from today
Singapore, Oct 8 (UNI) Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam will make an official visit to Singapore from today, and join some 600 Indian delegates at the Global Indian Diaspora conference over the weekend.
Mr Ramgoolam will call on Singapore President S R Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who will also host an official dinner in honour of the Mauritius leader.
He will also be the chief guest at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference in Singapore being held on October 10-11.
Top Indian businessmen from Asia are scheduled to attend the Singapore meeting, which will focus on economic issues related to India and the global financial crisis.
