Pondy unit of CPI demands scrapping of one man commission

Puducherry, Oct 7 (UNI) Taking strong exception to the government appointing a one man commission to go into all the aspects of implementing the 6th pay commission recommendations to all public sector and local administration department employees, the Puducherry unit of the Communist Party of India has demanded scrapping of the commission.

In a statement here today, CPI state secretary Na Ra Kalainathan demanded that the recommendations be implemented to all the employees in the Union territory, as such committee was not constituted while implementing the fourth and fifth pay commission recommendations.
