Forgery case against Cong leader

Morena, MP, Oct 3 (UNI) A case of forgery has been registered against a local Congress leader for illegally using official letter pad of Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath here, police said today.

City Superintendent of Police Amrit Meena said that local party leader and Prajapati Samaj General Secretary Shyamveer Prajapati used to write recommendation letters in the name of Mr Kamalnath to district administration, mainly for issuing licences for firearms.

When the Commerce Ministry was contacted, it was found that no such letter was issued in that regard. A search was launched to arrest Prajapati, police added.
