Bodies of NSCN(K) ultras recovered from Kohima

Kohima, Oct 3 (UNI) The Kohima police recovered three bodies of NSCN(K) cadres from Lower Agri Colony area here early this morning following a clash.

Official sources said heavy exchange of fire and grenade blasts were reported from Lower Agri Colony late last night, which created panic in the area and the local people took shelter in safer places.

Police rushed to the spot after daybreak and recovered three bodies of NSCN(K) cadres, including one self-styled lieutenant of the outfit.

Kohima Superintendent of Police R P Kikon told UNI that police recovered three bodies only, adding that they had no information about any other casualty so far.
