UP govt withdraws hiked check up rates at SGPGI
Lucknow, Oct 2 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minsiter Mayawati has withdrawn the increased check up rates, which were hiked by the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI) here with effect from yesterday.
No sooner the news about the increased check up rates at the prestigious medical institute reached the UP CM, a meeting of concerned officials was called and orders were passed for it's withdrawal yesterday.
While issuing the directives of the check up rates remaining the same as earlier, Ms Mayawati said her government has always considered peoples interest before taking any decision.
She further said the departments should also consider the BSP government's intention before taking any decision that directly effects a large number of population.
