Two inmates attempt to escape Jamnagar jail, one nabbed
Jamnagar, Oct 2 (UNI) Two inmates of the district Jail tried to escape the high walls of the prison today, when the authorities caught one of them, but the other managed to flee.
According to Jail sources, Kishoresinh Jadeja, who was serving life sentence in a murder case, and Bahadursinh Manubha, an undertrial in a rape case, climbed electric pole near the Jail wall at around 1700 hours.
Bahadursinh managed to jump the wall and flee, but Kishoresinh fell down and was nabbed by the Jail staff.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the escaped inmate, sources said.
Earlier, four inmates of a gang of burglars had escaped from this jail in wee hours on May 4 last. All were later arrested from different places in Saurashtra.
