'Shobhayatra' rally in Rajkot to propagate Gandhian ideology
Rajkot, Oct 2 (UNI) With the aim of propagating the Gandhian ideology, a ''Shobhayatra'' rally was organised here by the Freedom Yuva Group and Rajkot Municipal Corporation today, on the occasion of 139th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The rally commenced from the Jubilee Bagh and culminated at the Rashtriya Shala.
A 40-inch statue of Mahatma Gandhi, that was being carried during the rally, attracted much attention. Participation of many school and college students was also witnessed in the rally.
A blood donation camp has been arranged by the Yuva Group later during the day.
