One more held for fake passport

Kozhikode, Oct 2 (UNI) One more passenger from Ras-al-Khaima was arrested for travelling on a forged passport at Karipur International Airport, near here, today.

Immigration Department sources said Yousuf Ashraff (27), hailing from Pane Mangalore, who arrived on a RAK Airways flight was nabbed for travelling on a passport issued to Punnara Abdullah of Kuttipuram in Malappuram District, early this morning.

The accused would be handed over to local police for further action, they said.

The authority said 42 persons were arrested on similar charges from the airport during the last couple of months.
