Meghalaya remembers Father of Nation

Shillong, Oct 2: On Thursday, Oct 3 Meghalaya remembered the father of the nation on his birth anniversary through various programmes.

Political leaders cutting across party lines paid tribute to the Mahatma Gandhi and remembered his contribution.

Many organisation chalked out programmes including launching of cleaning drive in this capital city.

Leaders of ruling MPA coalition, Congress and other parties laid floral tributes to the father of the nation in his statue.
