Governor underlines need to promote Hindi language
Shimla, Oct 2 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor Prabha Rau underlined the need to promote Hindi language and added that Hindi could play a significant role in strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation.
She was addressing the 21st All India Rajbhasha Sammelan organized by National Hindi Academy Rupambra here today.
Mrs Rau emphasised upon making concrete efforts to popularize Hindi language should be used extensively in day-to-day life in the entire country to achieve the objective.
She said that simplification of Hindi was essential to popularise the same. She said that Hindi is our national language and it should be promoted and enriched further and added that nations, which do not preserve their language, literature and culture, lose their identity.
