Four medical colleges to come up in C'garh: Amar Agrawal
Raipur, Oct 2 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Health Minister Amar Agrawal has announced setting up of four medical colleges in order to meet with scarcity of doctors.
Mr Agrawal, while laying the foundation of the building of the Government Nursing and Physiotherapy College here, said the government intended to make doctors available in rural areas easily.
Claiming that medical facilities had expanded after formation of the state, he said new medical colleges had been opened up in the state in the past five years apart from development of necessary infrastructure.
Three medical colleges are functioning at present, while a decision has been taken to start four medical colleges.
