New Delhi, Oct 2 (UNI) The polit bureau of the CPI(M) today strongly condemned the Agartala blasts, which claimed two lives and injured 73, including some critically wounded.
The party in a press statement issued here said that it conveyed its heartfelt sympathy to all those who became victims of the four blasts that occurred yesterday in Agartala city of Tripura and their families.
The Left Front Governmnt of Tripura has registered significant success in tackling the extremist groups who used to resort to such violence. The explosions must be seen as an attempt to destabilise the situation, the statement said.
The party urged the Central Government to extend all help to the State Governemnt in tracking down the culprits especially in view of the fact that Tripura has an international border on the three sides of the State.
