BJP expresses concern about terror stalking northeast
New Delhi, Oct 2 (UNI) Expressing concern over the continued killings by terrorist forces now extending to the northeastern states, the BJP today asked the UPA ministers to give up playing the vote bank politics.
BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy said while Home Minister was talking tough against terrorism, his Human Resources Development counterpart Arjun Singh was talking of extending legal assistance to students suspected of serial bomb blasts in Delhi and other cities of the country. This kind of double talks by responsible people would make the people insecure and no city appeared safe.
Everywhere there was an atmosphere of crime and insecurity be it bomb blasts in the Capital, where it is impossible for women to move around without being attacked by robbers or rapists. Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit instead of increasing security for women was doling out advices to women not to venture outside during odd hours.
He said even the industrialists were unsafe with the criminal elements doing away with management personnel in the garb of workers and the ministers were out to defend these elements, he said.
